The Tyneside Cinema is set to re-open in early 2008 and we are now offering you the unique opportunity of leaving your mark on the new Tyneside by dedicating a seat.

Dedicating a seat makes an ideal gift for a friend or loved one or could be the perfect way to commemorate a special occasion for someone you love. Or you could just say how much you love the Tyneside Cinema!

Dedicating a seat costs as little as £150 and all donations will go towards the Tyneside Cinema Appeal.

Paris or Milan? Choose your Seat!

Our new Cinema seats are made in Paris and you can dedicate one for just £150. These seats are available in the Classic Stalls, the New Electra and the brand new 100 seater Screening Room.

Alternatively, you can dedicate an Italian made, deluxe, handcrafted leather armchair, for just £200. These seats are in the new Classic Circle only.

Or for cosy couples, dedicate an exclusively designed, bespoke ltalian leather two person sofa for just £350. These seats are in the new Classic Cinema Circle only.

For each seat that you dedicate you will receive:

A personalised plaque attached to the seat bearing your message (be it a name, date or even your favourite film quote).

A personalised naming certificate.

Two FREE tickets to one of the Tyneside Cinema Gala Openings in Newcastle to sit in your dedicated chair.

Acknowledgement of your support on our website.

How to dedicate a seat

To dedicate a seat, please download and complete our Seat Dedication form (pdf, requires Adobe Reader) and return it to:

Please note that the seat dedication is for the lifetime of the seat. We anticipate that this will be for a minimum of five years for the Cinema Seats and ten years for the leather armchairs and sofas. Dedicating a seat does not guarantee the recipient the right to sit in the chair.
