Tutor: Zoe Korda. Learn new technical and creative skills, create a range of photographic images, and take a look at digital versus in-camera effects. You will need some digital photography experience and a camera with shutter speed and aperture priority functions. £90 (full price) £80 (concessions).

Tutor: Steve Chambers. Develop your ideas and plots all the way to choosing a style, characterisation and writing dialogue. Designed for those with some experience of writing, or as the next level from our Introduction course. £80 (full price) £70 (concessions).

Tutor: Arin Keeble. Can cinema offer any genuine insight into the shocking events which bombard the world on a daily basis? This course looks at cinematic representations of terrorism, using full screenings and discussions and covers films ranging from Hitchcock’s Sabotage, Gillo Pontecorvo’s Battle Of Algiers to Hany Abu-Assad’s Paradise Now and more recent attempts at representing 9/11, such as United 93. £80 (full price) £70 (concessions).

Tutor: Roger Mitchell. Go on a voyage to Italy and explore the work of important Italian filmmakers such as Roberto Rossellini and Federico Fellini. Among other things, the course will use full screenings and discussions to consider how Italian cinema has engaged with notions of history and Italian national identity. £80 (full price) £70 (concessions).
